GPS warning! The displayed Route to St Martin is often not the right one! If it doesn’t recognise “”Chemin des Essarts””, follow our instructions instead. We recommend you not enter “”Route de St Martin”” into your GPS. When you arrive on Île de Ré, keep following the signs for St Martin de Ré. Pass through the village of Rivedoux, then La Flotte en Ré. Do not enter the village of La Flotte. Keep following the signs for “”St Martin de Ré””. The campsite is on the D735, on the left, between the 2 villages.
🚇 By train / bus:
The nearest SNCF station is in La Rochelle. You can reach the campsite by bus or taxi. It’s around 30km away.

🚌 By public transport:
If you’re coming by public transport, take bus line 3/3E La Rochelle-Île de Ré which is operated by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region. The nearest stop is Cocquereau in La Flotte. It’s only 1.2 km from the campsite. The free electric village shuttle will then get you to the Jaunet stop, only 400m from the campsite.
