Be careful with your satnav!
Your satnav may tell you to take the Route de St Martin, but this is seldom correct. If it does not recognise “Chemin des Essarts” follow our instructions instead. We do not recommend entering “Route de St Martin” into your satnav.
When you arrive on Île de Ré, head towards St Martin de Ré. First, cross the village of Rivedoux, then La Flotte La Prée. Note: do not go into the village of La Flotte. Carry on towards “St Martin de Ré”. The campsite is on the D735, on the left, between the 2 villages.
If you come by public transport, take line 3/3E La Rochelle-Ile de Ré in the New Aquitaine Region. The nearest stop is Cocquereau at La Flotte. It is located 1.2km from the campsite. The electric village shuttle (free) can then take you to the Jaunet stop, located 400m from the campsite. You can find the bus and shuttle timetables on the website https://transports.nouvelle-aquitaine.fr/fr/lignes-routieres/Les-lignes-routieres-en-charente-maritime.
The train station is in La Rochelle. You can then reach the campingsite by bus or taxi. It is located at about 30km.
